Delaware State University Reports Record Enrollments

Delaware State University, the historically black educational institution in Dover, reports that for the first time in its history, enrollments have topped 4,000 students. There are 4,179 students enrolled at Delaware State this fall, up from just over 3,800 last year. The new record was made possible by a first-year class of 1,085 students, an all-time record. The previous record for freshman enrollments was 940, set in 2005.

Currently there are 3,745 undergraduate students at Delaware State. The university has 333 students enrolled in master’s degree programs and 101 student in doctoral programs.
