In Memoriam: Edward N. Thompson (1953-2011)

Edward N. Thompson, director of development for the Office of Educational Equity at Pennsylvania State University, died recently at the age of 58.

A native of Harrisburg, Thompson earned an associate’s degree at Harrisburg Area Community College. He went on to earn a bachelor’s degree at Drexel University and an MBA in marketing from the Kellogg School of Business at Northwestern University.

Thompson joined the administration at Penn State in 1999.
