Southern University, the historically Black educational institution in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, has entered into an agreement to further strengthen its ties to Kirikkale University in Turkey.
Eleven faculty members from Kirikkale University are currently attending an English Language Training Program on the Southern University campus. The new agreement will increase faculty and student exchanges between the two universities. Students from Turkey will participate in English language training at Southern and one day may enroll as full-time students at the HBCU.
