North Carolina Central University Official to Take County Manager Post

Davis-WendellWendell Davis, vice chancellor for administration and finance at North Carolina Central University in Durham, has announced that he will step down from his post in April to become Durham County Manager. Before coming to NCCU in 2011, he served as deputy county manager for 12 years.

Davis is a graduate of North Carolina Central University, earning bachelor’s degrees in geography and sociology. He earned a master’s degree in urban planning from the University of Illinois and an MBA from Southeastern University in Florida.
