Wanda Fleming Lester to Lead the Business School at North Carolina Central University

flemingWanda Fleming Lester was named interim dean of the School of Business at North Carolina Central University in Durham. She was vice provost for academic affairs and undergraduate programs at North Carolina A&T State University in Greensboro. Before joining the provost’s office, she was the associate dean at North Carolina A&T’s School of Business and Economics. Earlier in her career, Dr. Lester was director of the Institute for Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development at Norfolk State University in Virginia and was an assistant professor of management at Florida A& University in Tallahassee.

Dr. Lester is a graduate of Florida A&M University, where she majored in accounting. She holds a Ph.D. in strategic management from Florida State University.
