University of Delaware Scholar Honored by the American Institute of Chemical Engineers

Babatunda A. Ogunnaike, dean of engineering at the University of Delaware, has been selected to receive the 2014 Eminent Chemical Engineer Award from the Minority Affairs Council of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers. He will be honored at the institute’s national meeting in Atlanta in November.

Dr. Ogunnaike joined the faculty at the University of Delaware in 2002. Previously, he was a researcher for Dupont.

Dr. Ogunnaike is a graduate of the University of Lagos in Nigeria. He holds a master’s degree in statistics and a Ph.D. in chemical engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
