Savannah State University, the historically Black educational institution in Georgia, has announced a new graduate certificate program in nonprofit organizations and leadership. The 12-credit program is designed for students who have obtained a bachelor’s degree but want to take master’s degree level courses in nonprofit management.
In addition to the basic introductory courses which provide a general overview of nonprofit management practices, electives include courses on marketing and fundraising, human resources, financial management, and grant writing.
To be eligible, students need to have maintained a 2.5 grade point average during their undergraduate education.
