Tuskegee University’s Olga Bolden-Tiller Honored for Commitment to Agricultural Education

The World Food Prize Foundation has recently presented the 2024 Inspiring Next Generation Award to Olga Bolden-Tiller, dean and research director of the College of Agriculture, Environment, and Nutrition Sciences at Tuskegee University in Alabama.

A Tuskegee faculty member for nearly two decades, Dr. Bolden-Tiller’s career has focused on advancing agricultural education and research. She currently leads the National Society for Minorities in Agriculture, Natural Resources, and Related Sciences and serves on the boards of Together We Grow and the Farm Journal Foundation. Prior to her deanship, she served as head of Tuskegee’s department of agricultural and environmental sciences. Earlier in her career, she conducted research with the University of Texas-MD Anderson Cancer Center.

Dr. Bolden-Tiller holds a bachelor’s degree from Fort Valley State University in Georgia and a Ph.D. in animal sciences from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
