Langston University Students Gain New Accelerated Pathway to Graduate Business Degree at Oklahoma State University

Historically Black Langston State University in Oklahoma has recently signed an agreement with Oklahoma State University that will create an accelerated pathway to an advanced business degree for the HBCU’s undergraduate students.

Under the new memorandum of understanding, students at Langston University can earn a bachelor’s degree in business from the HBCU and a master’s degree from Oklahoma State University’s Spears School of Business in a total of five years. The graduate programs available to qualified Langston University students include master’s degrees in business administration, business analytics and data science, management information systems, quantitative finance, and hospitality and tourism management.

To participate in the 4+1 pathway, Langston University students must be juniors with at least 90 undergraduate credit hours who have completed the GMAT exam and OSU’s standard graduate school application. During their senior year, participating students will have access to graduate-level coursework, allowing them to accelerate their graduate degree completion while saving time and money.

“This partnership reflects our shared commitment to creating academic pathways that strengthen Oklahoma’s business and innovation ecosystem,” said Daryl Green, dean of the School of Business at Langston University. “It gives our students a competitive advantage in pursuing high-demand careers in business, analytics, and leadership.”
