Winston-Salem State University to Launch Three Online Bachelor’s Degrees

Winston-Salem State University in North Carolina recently announced it will offer three bachelor’s degree programs in a fully online format through a partnership with Project Kitty Hawk, a statewide initiative to expand access to high-quality online education throughout North Carolina.

Beginning in June 2026, prospective students can apply to undergraduate programs in psychology, interdisciplinary studies, and business administration with a concentration in management. All three programs are designed to ensure online learners seeking flexible educational options can receive the same level of service and engagement that traditional students experience on the WSSU campus.

“Through Project Kitty Hawk, we are creating additional pathways for learners to achieve their educational and professional goals while strengthening the workforce and communities we serve,” said Chancellor Bonita J. Brown. “The future of Winston-Salem State University is not only about the students who can come to our campus. It is also about the students whose lives require us to bring the university to them.”
