
Fully funded by TMCF, CHANGE was first launched five years ago to support the professional development of faculty at historically Black colleges and universities. The nationwide initiative has now expanded its programming to include HBCU academic administrators, student-facing teams, and instructional support staff. CHANGE participants benefit from online courses, workshops, blogs, and collaborative forums that offer hands-on tools and community-focused strategies designed to improve institutional culture and student success.

The 2026 cohort for CHANGE will include 10 HBCUs: five continuing institutions from the initial program launch and five newly invited institutions.
