Architecture Students Win Diversity Scholarships

Gensler, a leading global design and architecture firm with 41 offices around the world, has announced the winners of the Gensler Diversity Scholarships. The scholarships are awarded to African American college students enrolled in accredited architecture programs who have demonstrated outstanding talent in the field.

First prize was awarded to Chisom Ezekwo who is currently pursuing a dual degree program in architecture and public policy, management, and planning at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles.

Second prize was given to Damian Bolden, an architecture student at Auburn University in Alabama.

Both students will receive a scholarship award and an internship with Gensler.

While teaching at Morris College, an HBCU in South Carolina, Solomon enrolled in the graduate program in mathematics at the University of South Carolina, making him one of the institution's first three Black students.
