The board of trustees at Howard University in Washington, D.C. has approved two new degree programs in the field of education. This fall Howard will offer a bachelor’s degree program in elementary education with a special focus on urban education.
The university will also offer a dual master’s degree program in school psychology and counseling services. The degree program will have four sub-specialties: school psychology, school counseling, clinical mental health, and applied behavior therapy. The program is slated to being in August.
