Eric Jack Named Interim Dean of UAB School of Business

The School of Business at the University of Alabama at Birmingham has announced the Eric Jack has agreed to serve as interim dean until a permanent dean is hired. Dr. Jack is an associate professor in the department of management, information systems, and quantitative methods. He has also served as associate dean of the business school since 2008. He will take over as interim dean on October 1.

Dr. Jack served 21 years as an officer in the U.S. Air Force. He is a graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology and holds an MBA from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio, and a Ph.D. in operations management from the University of Cincinnati.
