Grambling State University to Offer New Online Degree Program

Grambling State University in Louisiana is establishing a new online degree program for students who have completed some college coursework but have dropped out of college without earning their degree. To qualify for the online degree program in organizational leadership, students must be over the age of 25 and have completed 60 credit hours of coursework. The online degree program will be offered in five, eight-week sessions and can be completed in two years.

“The main purpose of the program is to bring back students who have earned some college credit but never completed the requirements for a degree,” said Rama Tunuguntla, interim dean of the College of Professional Studies at the university. “This is an excellent opportunity for students who dropped out sometime back.”

  1. Why do you have to be over the age of 25? That’s extremely stupid…some students can’t afford to not only pay the tuition the school requires every semester but to uproot their lives from wherever to move back down to Louisiana to finish their degree (This is especially inconvenient for those who live in far out states such as California or Maryland). Fix the age requirement and this might be a good idea!
