New University Administrative Appointments for Three African Americans

Alicia Dorn was named chief of staff to the chancellor of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. She was the communications director in the School of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Human Sciences at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff.

Dorn earned a bachelor’s degree in mass communication/broadcast journalism from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff. She holds a master of public administration degree from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.

Charles B.W. Prince is the new transformation and sustainability officer at Dillard University in New Orleans. He is the former director of the Office of Student Success and Transition at Howard University. Dr. Prince also has served as interim vice president of enrollment management, associate vice president of research and innovation and chief operations manager, and co-director of the Center for Transcendent Leadership at Virginia Union University.

Dr. Prince is a graduate of Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas, where he majored in composite social studies. He earned a master’s degree in educational leadership and human development from George Washington University and a doctorate in global executive leadership from the University of Southern California.

Christianne Malone was appointed assistant vice president for economic development and chief program officer for TechTown Detroit in the Office of Economic Development at Wayne State University. She most recently served as the director of community marketing and equity for Trailblaze Creative.

A native of Detroit, Malone received her bachelor’s degree in marketing and international business from Xavier University in Cincinnati.
