Two African Americans Taking on New Administrative Jobs in Higher Education

Rudolph  Hamilton Green was appointed vice president and chief compliance officer at the University of Miami. Since 2007, he has been the director of university compliance services at the University of Texas at Austin. He will assume his new post in January.

Green is a graduate of Yale University, where he was captain of the football team. He holds an MBA and a law degree from the University of Texas.

Nichelle D. Perkins was named deputy diversity officer for equity assurance at West Virginia University. She was a human resources manager for Concord Crossroads, a business serving disabled veterans in Palantine, Illinois. She also taught in the MBA program of the University of Phoenix.

Perkins is a graduate of the University of California at Los Angeles and the University of Iowa College of Law.
