Fredrick White was appointed executive director of Title III programs at Jackson State University in Mississippi. Previously, Dr. White served as the federal grant navigator consultant for the National League of Cities. He was also a federal grant administrator for the Mississippi Department of Human Services.
A graduate of Mississippi Valley State University, Dr. White earned master’s and doctoral degrees at Mississippi State University.
Eric Ham was appointed chief information officer at South Carolina State University. Ham was the director of information technology for the Orangeburg County Consolidated School District 5, where he supervised a staff of 25 and provided strategic direction for the district’s information technology infrastructure and functionality.
Ham holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics education and a master’s degree in secondary education from South Carolina State University.
Jason T. Evans is the new chief operating officer at Tennessee State University in Nashville. With a distinguished military career that spanned four decades, Lt. General Evans brings a wealth of command and staff leadership experience to TSU. He has held various senior executive positions that include leading complex organizations at every level of the United States Army.
A native of Baltimore, he holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Bellevue University in Nebraska, and master’s degrees in business administration from Webster University in Missouri and in national resource strategy from the National Defense University.

Dr. McMurray received her bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Clark Atlanta University and a master’s degree in applied mathematics from North Carolina A&T State University. She holds a Ph.D. in educational policy studies, with a concentration in research, measurement, and statistics, from Georgia State University.

Originally from Trinidad and Tobago, Dr. Streete earned his bachelor’s degree in economics from St. Francis College in Brooklyn, New York. He holds a Ph.D. in comparative and international education from Columbia University.

Edney earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism and a master’s degree in integrated marketing and communications at the University of Mississippi.

Dr. Bouie is a graduate of the University of Phoenix, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in finance and management. He holds a master’s degree in educational leadership from American Intercontinental University and a doctorate in organizational leadership and development from Grand Canyon University.
