Claflin University Enters Into Partnership With Savannah River Remediation

Claflin_LogoClaflin University in Orangeburg, South Carolina, has entered into a partnership agreement with Savannah River Remediation, the liquid waste management firm in charge of nuclear waste from the Savannah River Site, a U.S. Department of Energy installation.

Under the agreement, students at Claflin will have internships and other job training activities and receive mentoring from company officials. Savannah River Remediation will also consider providing scholarships for up to 10 students in STEM fields at Claflin.
