The Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences (EPS) invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in surface processes that influence the solid Earth. These processes are broadly defined and include volcanism, geomorphology, hydrology, cryosphere studies and natural and anthropogenic interactions with land surfaces. Possible approaches include field, laboratory, computational, and theoretical studies. We seek to attract an individual who will establish an innovative research program and teach both undergraduate and graduate students.

We also seek candidates who have a strong commitment to teaching.
