Position Description
The School of Applied Professional Studies in the College of Integrative Sciences and Arts (CISA) at Arizona State University (ASU) invites applications for two (2) Assistant Professors of Organizational Leadership to begin in the Fall 2025 semester. Expectations for these positions include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses; engaging in high-impact research that shapes the field of Organizational Leadership; practicing inclusive teaching and mentoring; and providing service to the unit, college, and university. Teaching load is typically two (2) courses per semester. Course load and composition are determined by the school director.
These are academic-year appointments with an expected start date of August 2025. These positions are benefits-eligible appointments with tenure implications. Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience. Candidates must reside in Arizona or be willing to relocate.

Required Qualifications:
- D. in Organizational Leadership or a related field in hand at time of appointment
- Published, or demonstrated potential to publish, research in peer-reviewed journals relative to rank
- Teaching experience in a post-secondary environment (undergraduate and/or graduate), including digital modalities such as Canvas (asynchronously and/or synchronously)
Desired Qualifications:
- Strong evidence of a scholarly research program in Organizational Leadership, with a preference for candidates whose research program is in one of the following: assessment, organizational strategy, organizational innovation, social processes/teamwork in organizations, or ethical/emotional/cultural intelligence
- Focus on applied, experiential learning that meets the career-ready goals of the unit
- Record of or demonstrated potential for securing external funding
- Strong quantitative methodology skills
- Evidence of activities consistent with the ASU Charter and Design Aspirations
