Position Description

The Project Management Program in the College of Integrative Sciences and Arts at Arizona State University invites applications for a career-track faculty position in our rapidly expanding BS and MS degrees. The successful candidates will prepare and teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in project management, depending upon their expertise, and they will participate in faculty service to the institution and profession. This appointment is 80% teaching (four courses per semester) and 20% service and begins August 2025.

This is a full-time, benefits-eligible, non-tenure-eligible position with promotion possibilities. It is renewable on an academic year basis contingent upon satisfactory performance, availability of resources, and the needs of the university. Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience. Candidate must reside in Arizona or be willing to relocate.

Required Qualifications:

  • Doctoral degree in Project Management or related field preferred, OR master’s degree in project management/related field plus 5 years of professional project management experience.
  • Experience teaching or training in multiple instructional contexts.
  • Demonstrated commitment to values expressed by the ASU Charter.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Graduate degree(s) from one of ASU’s peer institutions or similar.
  • Current PMP certification OR ability to acquire PMP certification within one year of appointment.
  • Professional experience in budgeting, forecasting, or analytics.
  • Experience developing and/or managing curriculum.
