Jackson State University in Mississippi has completed its transition to a completely wireless campus. Internet access is now available to students, faculty, and staff in every building on campus.
In the past there were wireless hotspots throughout campus buildings but the university wanted students to have access to the Internet wherever they were on campus, including outdoors areas, athletics fields, and stadiums.
The wireless campus is part of the university’s iPad Technology Advantage Scholarship Initiative that provides Apple iPads to all first-time, full-time students.
Does anyone know what other HBCU campuses are entirely wireless?
