Bridget Terry Long, professor of education and economics at the Harvard University Graduate School of Education, was elected chair of the board of directors of the Institute of Education Sciences, the research arm of the U.S. Department of Education.
Professor Long is a graduate of Princeton University. She holds a master’s degree and a Ph.D. in economics from Harvard University.
