Monica Boyd was appointed director of student professional development at Salem College in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. She brings over eleven years of prior experience as a member of Career Development Services at Winston-Salem State University.

Stephen L. McDaniel was named interim vice president for institutional advancement at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore in Princess Anne. He was interim vice president for institutional advancement at Norfolk State University in Virginia.
McDaniel is a graduate of the University of Maryland, Baltimore County.
Alan Robertson Sr. was appointed vice president for business and finance and chief financial officer at Morehouse College in Atlanta. He was a financial officer at Chicago State University and previously was a senior vice president of the Independence Bank of Chicago.
Dr. Robertson Sr. is a graduate of DePaul University in Chicago. He holds an MBA from Northwestern University and a doctorate in higher education administration from Pennsylvania State University.
Tanya Freeman is the new director of development at the Southern University Law Center in Baton Rouge. She was manager of business development for the University of Phoenix.
Freeman is a graduate of Southern University and earned an MBA at the University of Phoenix.
Tara A. Brooks is the new assistant dean of University College at West Virginia University. She was director of multicultural affairs and an assistant professor of education at Fairmont State University.
Dr. Brooks holds bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees, all from West Virginia University.
Brandon P. Brown was promoted to senior vice president for institutional advancement at Paine College in Augusta, Georgia. He has been on the staff of the historically Black college since 2008.
Brown is a 2000 graduate of Paine College and holds a master’s degree in human resource development from Webster University.
Marcus Clark was promoted to director of athletics at Shaw University in Raleigh, North Carolina. He will continue to serve as the university’s compliance officer, a position he has held for the past decade. He is the former athletic trainer for the Olympic team from the British Virgin Islands.
Clark is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond and holds a master’s degree from Capella University.
Ashiwel Undieh was appointed associate provost for research at the City College of New York. He was a professor and founding chair of the department of pharmaceutical sciences at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia.
Dr. Undieh holds bachelor’s and master’s degree in pharmacy from the University of Nigeria. He earned a Ph.D. at the Medical College of Pennsylvania.
Scott Jackson Dantley was named vice president for recognition services at the Council for Higher Education Administration in Washington, D.C. He was associate vice president for institutional effectiveness and planning and a professor of chemistry at Coppin State University in Baltimore.
Dr. Dantley holds a doctorate in science education from the University of Maryland.
