Marva Rudolph, associate vice chancellor and director of the Office of Equity and Diversity at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, died on February 6. She was 67 years old.
Dr. Rudolph was a native of Chattanooga, Tennessee. She was a graduate of Knoxville College and earned a master’s degree in urban planning and a Ph.D. in political science from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville.
Jimmy G. Cheek, chancellor of the University of Tennessee, stated, “Marva was a recognized diversity professional who worked tirelessly to advance, equity, diversity, and inclusion at the University of Tennessee.”
