Historically Black Saint Augustine’s University in Raleigh, North Carolina, has entered into an agreement with Pearson Education to offer online graduate degree programs. The first program in the series will be a master’s degree program in organizational leadership that will begin this fall. Concentrations in management, sports management, and heath care administration will be available. The goal is to field at least five graduate degree programs in business in areas such as global management and health care administration.
Roland Bullard, vice president for student development and dean of extended studies at the university, said, “We have an outstanding curriculum that we are prepared to share beyond the parameters of our physical campus. Additionally, we have an outstanding faculty who will design and then teach our courses to students in every corner of the globe. This is an exciting proposition for our campus, and we would look forward to continually extending the educational reach of the University in the years to come.”
Dr. Bullard is a graduate of Florida Atlantic University and holds a doctorate in higher education administration from Indiana University in Bloomington.
