Two African American Scholars in New University Administrative Posts

susan-wilsonSusan Wilson was appointed vice chancellor for diversity and inclusion at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. She has been serving as associate dean at the university’s School of Medicine.

Dr. Wilson holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology, a master’s degree, and a Ph.D. in clinical psychology, all from the University of Pittsburgh. She also earned an MBA at the University of Missouri-Kansas City.

Brandon Bowden, Student Affairs Assistant VP.Brandon Bowden is the new assistant vice president for student affairs at Florida State University in Tallahassee. He currently is completing work on a doctorate in higher education at Florida State.

Bowden holds a bachelor’s degree in exercise science and a master’s degree in higher education administration from Florida State University.
