Tennessee State University in Nashville has announced the establishment of a new master’s degree program in professional science with a concentration in geospatial information sciences. The degree program is intended for industry professionals and will combine scientific and technical knowledge along with business expertise.
The degree program, which is being offered online, is aimed at natural resource managers, environmental engineers, architects, city planners, public health officials, and urban and regional planners.
Students in the program will take 36 semester hours in course work and complete 300 hours in an internship.
