Linda R. Crump, assistant to the chancellor for equity, access, and diversity programs at the University of Nebraska at Lincoln, is retiring on June 30. She is the former chair of the Nebraska State Bar Association.
Crump is a graduate of the City College of New York, where she majored in biology. She is also a graduate of the College of Law of the University of Nebraska at Lincoln.
Royal P. Walker Jr. has retired from his position as executive director of the Institute of Disability Studies at the University of Southern Mississippi. Dr. Walker recently accepted an appointment to serve a four-year term on National Council on Disability. The council is an independent federal agency that makes policy recommendations on disability issues to the President, Congress, and other federal organizations.
Walker is a past president of the Association of University Centers on Disabilities. He is a graduate of Jackson State University in Mississippi and the Thurgood Marshall School of Law at Texas Southern University in Houston.
