Central State University, the historically Black educational institution in Wilberforce, Ohio, has entered into an agreement with Santa Monica University: The American International University in Cameroon.
The purpose of the agreement is to promote intellectual exchanges between the two universities, build friendship and goodwill, and foster a relationship that will promote intellectual exchanges with an international focus between students, faculty members, and administrators.
According to a statement released by the two universities, “the exchange programs encompass, but are not limited to the promotion of international study and service learning; the establishment of joint programs; the exchange of scholars (professors, lecturers, or researchers) and students; the organization of joint research programs; the writing of joint grant proposals; and other academic exchanges and development activities to which both institutions agree.”
This is great news for our young but excellent University here in Africa. Congrats to all of us @ Saint Monica University (SMU), especially my Dear Prof. JJ Asongu. Well done, Sir!
