Tufts University in Medford, Massachusetts, has announced the establishment of the new Consortium of Studies in Race, Colonialism and Diaspora. The cross-disciplinary program will become the academic home for the programs in Africana studies, Asian American studies, Latino studies and other related programs in the School of Arts and Sciences.
James Glaser, interim dean of the School of Arts and Sciences, stated that “the consortium will help scholars and students address topics and methods drawn from the humanities and social sciences and focus on the analytical, thematic, theoretical and political linkages among these programs.”
