harperHarper College, a two-year, public college in Palatine, Illinois, has entered into a partnership agreement with Chicago State University in an effort to increase diversity on the Harper College faculty. The program allows the two fellows to start their academic careers with a focus on career development, before they take on a full teaching schedule in the spring semester. The program allows the recent graduates to gain classroom experience and take advantage of mentoring opportunities provided by other faculty members at Harper College.

The two new fellows are Oubria Tronshaw, an instructor of English, and Darnell Windmon, an instructor in mathematics. Both institutions have stated that they hope to expand the program in the future.
