Dillard University, the historically Black educational institution in New Orleans, will be offering its first online course during the spring 2015 semester. The course, “Principles of Disease Prevention and Control,” will be taught by Rona Tyger, coordinator for instructional technology at the university.
In addition to the online instruction, two classroom sessions will be held at the beginning of the semester so Dr. Tyger can orient the students to the format of the online course.
The university hopes to add additional online courses during the summer 2015.
This is sad: “Dillard University, the historically Black educational institution in New Orleans, will be offering its first online course during the spring 2015 semester.”
