Savannah State University, the historically Black educational institution in Georgia, has signed an agreement with the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth to offer a dual degree program in forensic genetics.
Students who complete the five-year program will receive a bachelor’s degree in forensic science from Savannah State University and a master’s degree in forensic genetics from the University of North Texas.
A total of 149 credit hours are required for students to complete the dual-degree program. Students will take courses on both campuses.
