In Memoriam: E. Dean Montgomery (1951-2011)

E. Dean Montgomery, executive vice president, chief financial officer, and chief operations officer at Bethune-Cookman University in Daytona Beach, Florida, has died. He was 60 years old.

Montgomery was a 1974 graduate of Benedict College in Columbia, South Carolina. He earned a master’s degree in business education from Webster University in St. Louis. He joined the administration at Bethune-Cookman University in 1999. Before coming to Bethune-Cookman, he was vice president for business affairs at Voorhees College in Denmark, South Carolina.
