Linda Rose is the New President of Santa Ana College in California

Rose2The board of trustees of the Rancho Santiago Community College District has appointed Linda D. Rose as the next president of Santa Ana College. The college, located east of Long Beach, enrolls about 30,000 students.

Since August 2014, Dr. Rose has been the president of Los Angeles Southwest College. Before taking the helm at Los Angeles Southwest College, she served for three years are vice president of academic affairs at Santa Ana College. Earlier, Dr. Rose was dean of the Liberal Arts Division and chair of the English department at Cerritos College in Norwalk, California.

Dr. Rose is a graduate of West Los Angeles Community College. She holds a bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies and a master’s degree in English from California State University, Dominguez Hills. Dr. Rose earned at doctorate in educational leadership from the University of California, Los Angeles.
