Tuskegee University Graduates Are the Stars of a New Reality Show on Animal Planet

Vet-AnimalPlanet-story1The television cable network Animal Planet recently debuted a new program that follows three graduates of the College of Veterinary Medicine at historically Black Tuskegee University in Alabama.

The new reality show, The Vet Life, follows the work and family life of Tuskegee graduates Diarra Blue, Aubrey Ross, and Michael Lavigne. The three Tuskegee alums operate the CY-Fair Animal Hospital in Cypress, Texas.

The Tuskegee University community was treated to a premier showing of the new series in the days preceding its debut on cable. Brian Johnson, president of Tuskegee University, stated that “we are excited to have this opportunity to partner with Animal Planet and bring a preview showing highlighting the extraordinary accomplishment of three of our veterinary graduates in debuting their own eight-episode season to our university community.”
