Peter Millet Is One of Four Finalists for Provost at Columbus State University

Columbus State University in Georgia has announced four finalists for the position of provost and vice president for academic affairs. All of the candidates are men, and one is African American.

Peter Millet is dean of the College of Education at Tennessee State University in Nashville. He has been on the faculty at Tennessee State since 1997 and served as dean since 2004. He previously held positions at Connecticut College and Columbus State Community College in Ohio.

Dr. Millet is a graduate of Oakland University in Rochester Hills, Michigan. He holds a master’s degree and a Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Ohio State University. He completed a postdoctoral internship at Meharry Medical College in Nashville.
