Pastor and Corporate Executive Joins the Academic World

Patrick O. Lindsey is the new vice president for government and community affairs at Wayne State University in Detroit. He is the pastor of the Greater Bibleway Baptist Church and has been serving as the director of external relations and development for the Detroit-based nonprofit organization, Focus: HOPE. Previously, he had a 20-year career as an executive for Chrysler Corporation. His last position at Chrysler was senior manager of state relations where he served as a lobbyist with state and local government officials.

Lindsey is a graduate of the University of Michigan.
