Xavier University of Louisiana Teams Up With Baylor University for a Student Exchange

xavierlaXavier University, the historically Black educational institution in New Orleans that is affiliated with the Roman Catholic Church, has entered into a partnership agreement with Baylor University, an educational institution, founded by Baptists in Waco, Texas.

The agreement calls for a student exchange partnership that will expand educational and cultural opportunities for students at both universities. The student exchanges will begin in the Spring 2017 semester.

verretC. Reynold Verret, president of Xavier University, stated that “such a student exchange enlarges opportunity for Xavier and Baylor students to study and learn in a new and different environment at no additional cost, and also to learn from each other. It also makes available courses that may not be offered at the home institution.”
