Professor Williams has been selected to serve as interim dean of Penn State Dickinson Law. An expert on financial and securities regulations, she has been a faculty member with the university for the past seven years.
The deans are Gregory D. Goins at North Carolina A&T State University's College of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences, Michael L. Jones at Hampton University's School of Nursing, Chance M. Glenn Sr. at Wilberforce University's College of Engineering, Britaney S. Lott at Voorhees University's School of Business & Entrepreneurship, and Cheryl A. Thaxton at Winston-Salem State University's School of Health Sciences.
At North Carolina Central University, Tryan L. McMickens is a new associate dean in the School of Education. Katrina Smith and Nakia Davis are taking on associate dean roles in the School of Law.
On August 3, Dr. Baskin became the first woman to lead the Virginia Commonwealth University Massey Comprehensive Cancer Center. She is now the first Black woman to serve as director of a National Cancer Institute-designated cancer center.
Albert Bimper has been selected to serve as interim provost at the University of North Texas, where he has been leading the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences — the institution's largest and most comprehensive college.
Tomiko Brown-Nagin is dean of the Stanford Graduate School of Education, Gerrelyn Patterson is dean of the College of Education at Virginia State University, and Julie A. Washington is dean of the School of Education at the University of California, Irvine.
Emery Brown was granted MIT's highest faculty title and Denise Davis-Maye is the inaugural associate provost for faculty affairs at Albany State University. Jeffrey Allen Murdock, Shaundra Daily, and Maxie Hollingsworth have joined the faculties of Yale University, the University of Tennessee, and Sam Houston State University, respectively.
Dr. Walcott has been a faculty member at the University of Georgia since 1999. For the past six years, he has served as vice provost for graduate education and dean of the Graduate School.
Henry R. Young of the University of Georgia and Tricia Penniecook of the University of South Florida were promoted to leadership roles. Derrick C. Lewis Sr. and Jennifer Hunter joined the faculties of Rust College and Virginia Commonwealth University, respectively. Yale University's Marlene Daut was selected for a fellowship at New York Public Library, and Kenni Zellner is an endowed visiting assistant professor at Boston College Law School.

Jamal Cyrus is a a new assistant professor of sculpture at the University of Houston, Grisha Coleman is a new professor in music and theater arts at MIT, and Nicholas Ball was promoted to full professor of chemistry at Pomona College.
The new provosts are Preselfannie E. Whitfield McDaniels at Jackson State University in Mississippi, Tywanna Chenault Hemby at Paine College in Georgia, and LaToya Mason at Lake Michigan College.
Herman Bennett of the City University of New York was selected for a year-long fellowship at the Library of Congress. Mouhamédoul Niang was promoted to full professor at Colby College in Maine. Elizabeth J.A. Siwo-Okundi and Angela Lynn Tucker are new assistant professors at the Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary and the University of Houston, respectively.

Gardner has joined the Savannah State University faculty as an associate professor of political science and international affairs.
A faculty member since 2012, Dr. Denham was recently promoted to dean of the Graduate School at the University of Alabama. Prior to his new role, he was the school's associate dean for graduate affairs.
Sean Edmund Rogers was named dean of the Andrew F. Brimmer College of Business and Information Science at Tuskegee University in Alabama, and Ron Lewis was appointed dean of the College of Business and Human Services at Manchester University in Indiana.
Nadya Mason is vice president for research at the University of Chicago and Fayron Epps is associate dean of the School of Nursing at Georgia State University. Leonard Egede of the University at Buffalo was named a SUNY Distinguished Professor and Joshua Adewole Kerobo was appointed to the faculty of the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music.
