Job Description:
The Incumbent will manage and direct the day-to-day administrative and research operations of active projects including managing communications, data, and overseeing workflow is responsible for contributing to protocol development, conducting analyses with quantitative data and supervising research assistants in these efforts, interpreting findings, and contributing substantively to dissemination efforts such as manuscripts and conference presentations. With the finance department, helps manage invoicing and project spending/projections. With the PI, this position is responsible for managing communication with internal and external collaborators, project budgeting, and relevant funder required reporting.
Job Qualifications
Education
- Master’s Degree in public health, or related field
Experience
- Significant experience in quantitative research, including the design, conduct, and analysis of quantitative research (5 or more years)
- Substantial project direction experience (5 or more years)
- Experience in the field of public health
- Experience working with IRB applications
Job Competencies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, set priorities, and meet deadlines
- Understanding of research ethics and requirements
- High level of proficiency with MS Office suite, Google suite, Adobe Acrobat Pro
- Proficiency with R or other quantitative analysis software
- Knowledge of research design, measurement issues, and sampling
