In partnership with Lindauer, Hampden-Sydney College is seeking a visionary Vice President for College Advancement (VP) to shape the future of this distinguished liberal arts college with a mission “to form good men and good citizens.”

Job Duties
Develop and implement comprehensive strategies for College Advancement, aligningwith the College’s goals and priorities.
Lead fundraising efforts, including major gifts, annual giving, and planned giving, while cultivating relationships with donors and stakeholders.
Oversee alumni and parent engagement initiatives, leveraging networks to enhance fundraising, admissions, and student support efforts.
Manage and mentor a talented staff of advancement professionals, ensuring effective performance and development.
Represent the College in external forums and events, promoting its mission and identifying opportunities for collaborative projects.
Qualifications
Minimum of 10 years of experience in advancement work with documented fundraising ability.
Proven success in leading comprehensive fundraising campaigns.
Superior communication and relationship-building skills.
Strong administrative and team leadership capabilities.
Passion for liberal arts education and commitment to Hampden-Sydney’s mission “to
