The Department of Earth & Planetary Sciences (EPS) invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in Climate Science. Climate Science is broadly defined and includes the study of the atmosphere, the ocean, the cryosphere, the land and their interaction in the context of past, present, and future climate. Possible approaches include observational, laboratory, computational, and theoretical studies. We seek to attract an individual who will establish an innovative research program and teach both undergraduate and graduate students.
A doctorate or terminal degree in a field of science related to climate science is required by the expected start date, currently July 1, 2025, though the exact date is negotiable.
We also seek candidates who have a strong commitment to teaching and advising. At least one letter must come from someone who has not served as your undergraduate, graduate, or postdoctoral advisor.
