Lehigh University. The Department of English invites applications for a Teaching Assistant Professor, to begin Fall 2024.
Qualifications: Ph.D. in English with a specialization in rhetoric and composition or comparable terminal degree, awarded by date of hire. At least five years’ experience teaching composition courses at the college level.
The successful candidate will teach in our rhetorically grounded First-Year Writing Program, which features a two-course sequence for most Lehigh students. The Teaching Assistant Professorship is a full-time, non-tenure track position with a 4/4 teaching load. These positions are renewable with a career path to promotion. Class size is typically 19 or below.
