The Department of Economics is seeking a mid-level to senior scholar to fill its Frederick S. Addy Distinguished Professorship of Economics. This endowed position includes an academic appointment in the Department at the level of full or associate professor, a competitive salary, and a fund for research expenses. While any field within economics will be considered, we will prioritize candidates doing research in labor economics, particularly research using cutting-edge empirical methods to study the changing labor market. The successful candidate must have a distinguished record of research, preferably with a well-established record of obtaining grants. The successful candidate must also have demonstrated a dedication to undergraduate teaching and an ability to inspire students with enthusiasm for the discipline of economics.
