The PSCOM is deeply committed to ensuring that the Department of Cellular and Molecular Physiology is recognized among the best in the nation and has set the table for its next Chair to successfully lead the Department in that direction.

All applicants for academic positions will be submitted through Penn State's Workday recruitment module, where applicants will be asked to respond affirmatively to a question that indicates that they understand the text below:

The following paragraph applies to you in the event you are a finalist for a tenure-line position and are seeking tenure immediately upon appointment. Prior to your final on-campus (in-person or virtual) interview, it is your responsibility to submit a signed authorization and disclosure form to the Office of the Vice Provost for Faculty Affairs to disclose any pending investigations of your conduct (i.e., research/sexual misconduct/other) or investigations of your conduct that resulted in a finding of misconduct. If the University becomes aware of any past finding of misconduct or pending investigations that were not disclosed, this will be treated as a serious omission and the University reserves the right to rescind your offer or terminate employment. The authorization and disclosure form is on the website of the Office of the Vice Provost for Affairs (see https://vpfa.psu.edu/disclosure-of-misconduct/). By typing your name below, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to the statement above.

Employment will require successful completion of background check(s) in accordance with University policies.
