Description:
Reporting to the Assistant Vice President for Student Affairs, the Student Life Director will act as a senior member within the Division of Student Affairs and will lead the Division at the discretion and in the absence of the Assistant Vice President. The Student Life Director is responsible for developing and implementing a broad range of programs and services responsive to students’ needs while cultivating a culture of student learning, campus and civic engagement, academic success, and lifelong achievement.
Duties include (but are not limited to):
- Manage and implement the Division’s Goals and Targets, Strategic Plan, Mission, and Guiding Principles.
- Support the strategic priorities of the College by serving as a representative of the Division of Student Affairs on various College- and University-wide committees and projects.
- Direct meetings to assure efficient communication and understanding of emerging and on-going issues, as well as strategic priorities for the College.
