Tenure-Track, Assistant Professor in Economics
The Department of International Affairs in the Bush School of Government and Public Service at Texas A&M University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Economics with an anticipated start date of Fall 2024. This is a full-time 9 month appointment.
The Department of International Affairs comprises an interdisciplinary faculty conducting policy-relevant research in a variety of fields, including economics, political science, history, and the humanities. Candidates with a research focus on International Economics, Political Economy, and Development Economics are encouraged to apply for this position. In addition to service to the department and the university, the successful candidate will regularly teach required international economics courses to undergraduate and Masters students in the International Affairs Department on a standard 2-2 teaching load and will be expected to carry out a vigorous program of research.

Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Economics or a related discipline on or before the start date and demonstrate a strong commitment to teaching and research in the context of a public policy graduate school environment. The start date for this position is September 1, 2024.
